Google Ads

Leads this week, not next quarter.

SEO compounds, but it takes months. Google Ads works the afternoon you switch it on. We build the account, wire up call and form tracking, and report what a lead actually cost you.

What's Included

Run properly,
not set and forgotten.

Most accounts we inherit are burning budget on searches the owner would never pay for.

Account Built From Scratch
Campaigns structured by service and by area, so you can see which jobs and which neighborhoods are actually paying off. If you already have an account, we audit it first and tell you honestly whether it's worth rebuilding.
Keyword and Negative Research
The negatives matter more than the keywords. A plumber paying for "plumber salary" and "plumbing courses" is funding Google, not their calendar. We prune the search terms report every month.
Ad Copy and Extensions
Written for the person typing at 9pm with a leaking pipe, not for a brand guideline. Call buttons, location, service lists and pricing extensions filled in properly so the ad takes up more of the screen.
Call and Form Tracking
Without this you're guessing. We track which campaign, which ad and which search produced each phone call and each form fill, so the monthly report says "this keyword cost you $41 a lead" instead of showing impressions.
Wasted-Spend Review
Every month we go through where the money went and cut what didn't work. Budgets drift, competitors change bids, and Google keeps suggesting "improvements" that quietly widen your targeting. Someone has to say no to those.
Landing Pages That Load
Paid clicks hitting a slow page is the fastest way to waste a budget, and Google charges you more per click for it. We build hand-coded landing pages on the higher tiers, and fix the ones costing you money on every tier.

Should you be running ads at all?

Sometimes the honest answer is no. Ads make sense when you need work sooner than search can deliver it, when your margins survive paying for clicks, and when someone answers the phone.

If your budget is under $750 a month, we'll tell you to put it into the Local plan instead and let the map pack do the work. Below that number there isn't enough click volume for the campaign to learn anything, and you'd be paying a management fee to watch noise.

  • Worth it if a job is worth a few hundred dollars or more
  • Worth it if you have capacity to take on more work now
  • Worth it while SEO is still building, as a bridge
  • Not worth it if calls go to voicemail during working hours
  • Not worth it on a budget below $750 a month

Flat fee. Never a cut of your spend.

Most agencies charge a percentage of what you spend. That gives them a quiet incentive to talk you into a bigger budget, and it means the better your account performs, the more you pay for the same work.

We charge a flat monthly fee tied to how many channels we're running, published on the pricing page like everything else. You pay Google directly on your own card, and the account is registered to your business from day one. If you leave, it stays with you.

  • Search Starter — $499/mo · one Search campaign, budgets $750 to $1,500
  • Search + Local — $799/mo · adds Performance Max and call tracking, budgets to $3,000
  • Multi-channel — $1,199/mo · adds Meta, landing pages and split testing, budgets to $6,000
  • $350 one-time setup · three-month minimum, then month to month
Questions

Before you spend
a dollar with us.

Answered by the person who would run the account, not a sales rep.

No. You pay Google directly with your own card and the account is registered to your business. Our fee is flat and tied to how many channels we're running, not to how much you spend. Agencies taking a percentage have a quiet incentive to grow your budget, and we'd rather not have that conversation with you.
Below roughly that number there isn't enough click volume for the campaign to learn or for anyone to tell what's working. You'd pay a management fee to watch noise, then reasonably conclude ads don't work. If your budget is smaller, put it into the Local plan and let organic search and the map pack do the work instead.
No. Ads run on whatever site you already have, including WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and Shopify. We audit it free first. If it's slow enough to be costing you money on every click, we'll say so and quote a fix rather than quietly bill you for ads pointed at a page that can't convert.
Building the account, researching keywords and negatives, writing the first ads, and wiring up call and form conversion tracking all happen before a single click gets bought. It's charged once, not every month. Our website and search plans have no setup fee at all — this is the one exception, because the work is real and front-loaded.
Clicks start the day the campaign goes live, usually within a week of signing up. Useful data takes longer. Google's bidding needs a learning period, and the first month is largely about finding which searches waste money and cutting them. That's why we ask for three months — judging an account at thirty days tells you very little.
The ads stop the day you pause them — that's the honest downside of paid versus SEO. But the account, the conversion tracking, the keyword research and the landing pages are all yours and stay in your name. We remove ourselves as users and hand it over. Nothing is held hostage.
