When someone asks ChatGPT for a business like yours.

More people are starting in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews than in a list of blue links. Those answers name two or three businesses. We do the work that makes you one of them, and we measure whether it is actually happening.

What's Included

Findable, quotable,
and measured.

An assistant can only recommend a business it can read, resolve and trust. Each of these fixes one of those three.

Crawler Access, Checked
GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and Google-Extended allowed explicitly in robots.txt. Plenty of sites block these by accident, through a plugin default or a host's firewall, and never find out.
An llms.txt Summary
A plain-text file describing what you do, what you charge and which pages matter, written for a model rather than a crawler. A proposed convention rather than a standard, so we treat it as cheap insurance, not a guarantee.
Structured Data That Matches
Organization, service, FAQ and breadcrumb markup that agrees with what the page actually says. Schema contradicting the visible page is worse than none, because it teaches every system reading it that your data is unreliable.
Answer-Shaped Content
Real questions as headings with the answer directly underneath, in a paragraph that stands on its own. Assistants quote passages, not pages, so a paragraph that only makes sense after three others rarely gets picked up.
One Consistent Business Identity
The same name, address, phone and description on your site, your Business Profile and the directories that feed the rest. Models resolve which business you are from sources agreeing with each other, and disagreement is what makes you unquotable.
Referral Tracking By Name
Visits from chatgpt.com, perplexity.ai and claude.ai arrive as ordinary referral traffic. We set the reporting up so you get a real number each month rather than a claim that it must be working.

What nobody can promise you.

There is no ranking system to buy into here, and no rank tracker that reports your position. Two people can ask the same question and get different answers, so anyone selling you a guaranteed spot in ChatGPT is selling something that does not exist.

What we sell is the groundwork plus the measurement. Whether an assistant can reach your site, resolve which business you are, and find a passage worth quoting are all things we control. Whether it picks you on a given day is not.

  • No guaranteed placements, because none can be bought
  • No rank reports, because there is no rank to report
  • Referral traffic from AI tools, reported monthly
  • Every change listed, so you can check the work yourself

We did it to our own site first.

This site allows all six major AI crawlers by name, publishes both an llms.txt and a fuller llms-full.txt, and carries structured data on every page. You can open robots.txt right now and read the rules.

That is the whole reason this page exists rather than a pitch deck. Most of what is sold as AI optimisation cannot be inspected by the person buying it. This can, on our own site, before you pay anything.

  • Included in the Local plan, $299/mo, with Business Profile work
  • Runs on the site you already have, whatever it was built with
  • The same work that helps ordinary search, done once
  • No setup fee · three-month minimum, then month to month
Questions

The honest answers
about AI search.

Including the ones that cost us the sale.

No, and nobody can. There's no ranking system to buy into and no rank tracker that reports your position, because two people asking the same question can get different answers on the same day. Anyone promising you a guaranteed spot is selling something that doesn't exist. What we can do is the groundwork that makes you findable and quotable, then measure the traffic that actually arrives.
Largely, and we'd rather say so than dress it up. Clean structure, accurate structured data, consistent business details and content that answers real questions have always been good SEO, and they're exactly what AI assistants lean on. The genuinely new parts are giving AI crawlers explicit access and publishing an llms.txt summary. If an agency tells you AI search needs a completely separate retainer, ask them which parts aren't just SEO.
It's a plain-text file at the root of your site summarising what the business does, what it charges and which pages matter, written for a language model rather than a crawler. Being straight with you: it's a proposed convention, not an official standard, and no major AI company has publicly confirmed it reads one. It costs almost nothing to publish, which is why we do it, but the honest case is cheap insurance rather than proven return.
Visits from AI tools arrive as ordinary referral traffic, so chatgpt.com, perplexity.ai and claude.ai show up by name in Google Analytics. We set that reporting up so you get a real number each month. It's a partial picture — someone who reads an answer, then searches your business name and clicks through, looks like ordinary organic traffic — but it's a number rather than a story.
For a local service business, blocking is usually the wrong trade. You're not protecting a valuable archive, you're removing yourself from the answers your customers are being handed. A publisher with a library of paid reporting has a real argument for blocking. A plumber does not. Worth checking either way, because plenty of sites block these crawlers by accident through a plugin default or a host firewall.
No. Crawler access, structured data, entity consistency and llms.txt can all be added to a site you already have, including WordPress, Wix and Squarespace. If the existing site is slow or thin enough that it's holding back ordinary search too, we'll tell you that rather than layering this on top and charging you for both.

Free AI Visibility Check

Find out if the assistants can even read you.

We will check whether AI crawlers are blocked on your site, whether your business details agree across the web, and what ChatGPT currently says when asked for a business like yours.
